Paving The Next 50: Honoring Our Past. Building Our Future.

Memorial Brick Fundraiser

For fifty years, the Mid-America All-Indian Museum (MAAIM) has preserved Native stories, celebrated living cultures, and served as a place of belonging for Native families in Wichita and beyond. As we reach this historic milestone, we are not only honoring the past - we are actively building the future.

Help Build What Comes Next

The MAAIM Paving the Next 50 Memorial Brick Fundraiser gives you the opportunity to leave a permanent mark while helping launch a new era of education, exhibitions, and community impact.

Each personalized brick honors those who came before us - and directly helps fund what future generations will experience.

Your Brick Invests in the Future

Funds raised through this campaign support 50 Years of MAAIM: Then, Now, Next, a six-month anniversary initiative beginning May 23, 2026.

Most importantly, these contributions help fuel the museum's next chapter by expanding programs and spaces designed for today's Native youth and families.

Your contribution helps MAAIM:

  • Refresh and imagine gallery spaces
  • Develop new interactive education and STEM-based exhibits
  • Expand hands-on youth and family learning programs
  • Support Native artists, educators, and cultural practitioners
  • Increase access for Native students and community members

A Foundation Built By Community

Founded in 1976 alongside Blackbear Bosin's Keeper of the Plains, MAAIM represents Native people from all 575 federally recognized tribes.

Our museum reflects a living community shaped by migration, aviation, service, and resilience. Today, as Native youth and families continue to grow in Wichita, MAAIM is preparing to meet them with spaces, stories, and programs that reflect who they are - and who they will become.

Paving the Next 50 Years

Your memorial brick is more than recognition - it is an investment in Native visbility, education, and opportunity.

Together, we can honor the foundation laid by earlier generations and build a future where Native culture, innovation, and leadership continue to thrive.

Help pave the next 50 years - brick by brick, story by story, future by future.
