Resting along the pathway between the museum and the Keeper Plaza is the Outdoor Learning Center, which features a prairie of native and medicinal plants and our bee hives, which supplies the honey we sell in the museum shop.

When the gate is closed, there are window frames which allow you to peek into the prairie and watch the bees and butterflies at work.
