Experience hands-on learning and cultural connection at Crafted Tradition Family Days—a new monthly series at the Mid-America All-Indian Museum. Each event highlights a traditional Native craft, story, or seasonal practice through interactive activities designed for all ages. From art-making to cultural demonstrations, families are invited to explore Native heritage in a fun and meaningful way.

Join us as we mark the close of our Following Blackbear Invitational exhibit with a Native Art-themed Family Day workshop! 

Warclan Collective member and Native Artist Taiomah Rutledge will be leading visitors in creating ledger art animals inspired by his artwork in the exhibit, which is closing on August 30th. Come see the exhibit for a final time, and put your inspiration to work as you follow Blackbear, Taiomah, and other Native artists!​

Admission is $5 per person for ages 4 and up, or $15 for a family/group of four, and includes full museum access. You may drop in and out anytime from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - this is an open style, flexible workshop!
